Local:

Local Workforce Development Board: Start by finding your local local Workforce Development Board. They can also help connect you to community colleges, universities, and other resources based on your area.

Statewide:

Texas Workforce Solutions: Texas Workforce Solutions, through its network of local Workforce Development Boards, offers various business assistance programs, grant programs,  including those specifically tailored for the manufacturing sector. These programs focus on helping manufacturers with recruitment, training, and other workforce development needs.

Texas Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (TX FAME): TXFAME’s primary focus is to develop and grow a skilled pipeline of workers through the engagement of the current and future workforce in partnership with industry and the community.

Texas Industry Partnership Program: Targets skills gaps and ensures a talent pipeline is available to address regional industry needs. Private employers, corporate founds and most 501c6 organizations can collaborate with local workforce development boards to apply for funding to support workforce development projects focused on high-demand, target occupations for job training in their communities.

National:

Manufacturing USA: Manufacturing USA has developed a national education and workforce development roadmap to help ensure the sector has the support it needs to keep growing. The institutes within the Manufacturing USA network are helping to define the skills and training needed to satisfy manufacturers’ future requirements.
