Micah Jaynes has been an entrepreneur at heart most of his life. In 2019, he turned his dream into a reality. He decided to open a tap house in the re-developed area of downtown Brownwood, Texas. So, in July of 2019, Pioneer Tap House was opened to the public. Its purpose is to create something that would exist to create a fun experience for people to enjoy Texas made craft beer and wine. “The goal is to create a place that connects the community”. Pioneer Tap House offers live music, trivia nights as well as many other activities to enjoy during a night out. The SBDC was fortunate to work with Micah in assisting him with industry research as well as assistance in writing a business plan. Pioneer Tap House has quickly become a staple within the Brownwood downtown area and enjoys a faithful following.
