Robert Brown, the Owner of F45 Training Ponderosa West, was referred to the SBDC by a local SBA lender. He needed to put together a business plan with financial projections. Robert planned to buy an F45 Fitness franchise and open it in Odessa. There were already 65 new franchises, including one location in Midland. They have more than 6,000 full-body workouts for their clients to choose from. It is trendy in Australia. Robert worked with the SBDC consultant to develop a business plan narrative, three years of financial projections, and industry and market research. Shortly after opening, the business was significantly impacted by the pandemic. Still, Robert worked hard, and because he had an alternate source of income was able to survive and is now thriving.
