Stephanie and her husband Jacob dreamed of owning a small business. They found a dry cleaner in their hometown of Dublin, Texas and decided to purchase it. They reached out to the SBDC for assistance with the purchase. The SBDC helped them formulate a business plan that outlined features and benefits. Once a business plan was presented to a lender, they were funded $65,000.00 and purchased the business. They have operated the business successfully ever since. They now have 4 total employees to assist Stephanie operate day-to-day tasks. She is grateful for the SBDC and all it does to encourage small business growth.
