In 2015 Jason Hester and John Hitt opened an arcade in a mobile home and The Deep End was born. Since then, the business has moved to a more permanent location, complete with an expansion of offerings, including a larger space, friendlier storefront, as well as a food and alcohol menu. MSU-SBDC assisted Jason and John with cash flow projections, their business plan, and market research, especially for mixed beverage sales. Throughout the past few years, SBDC has helped with EIDL and ERC, tracking financials, discussing the possibility of radio ads, and menu diversification. Activities include classic games, like Ms. Pac Man and pinball machines as well as racing and sports. They’ve even included some high-end gamed such as Star Wars and The Waling Dead. Old school and new come together to provide fun for all! Jason and Michael are making plans to have a live music venue available for local bands and karaoke. For one price patrons can play all day – no tokens needed. After 9:00 pm, you must be 18 or older to stay and play.
