Ryan and Seba formed Iceland Coolers, LLC offering a variety of sizes and colors. The coolers have features that many top name brands do not have such as cutting boards, wheels, and drink openers. The prices begin at $400 depending on size and features with lifetime warranty and military and first responder discounts. They have found a customer base among hunters, fishermen, oilfield, construction workers and outdoor enthusiasts. The coolers are manufactured in China and shipped in bulk by ship and trucked to Abilene. He has customers that buy the coolers and sell them to retail customers. Ryan’s largest customer is Higginbotham’s. He also sells locally to Ace Hardware and other small retailers. Ryan began working with the Abilene SBDC in 2021 in developing a business plan and has continued his relationship with the Abilene SBDC.
