GeneCo Technologies, LLC is a woman owned 8(a) small business located in Tye and Abilene, Texas area and has been in operation since 2010. Over the years, GeneCo Technologies, LLC has elevated itself to the level of “partner” from subcontractor during the performance of current ESPC project at Dyess AFB and have recently performed M&V work at Goodfellow AFB in Texas as well as working on projects at Glen Canyon. Amye Butler holds the president’s role of the company while husband Brad Butler acts as the lead project manager. In leu of the pandemic GeneCo Technologies, LLC worked with the Abilene SBDC on a business plan which resulted in a combination of SBA loans totaling $695,000. The PPP Loan allowed GeneCo to continue at the current employment levels and cover the eight-week period, as stipulated per the PPP requirements. GeneCo Technologies, LLC was also nominated by Siemens Government Technologies for Minority and Woman Owned Small Business of the year. They were awarded in November 2020 by Siemens USA Small and Diverse business partners at the 4th annual ceremony.
