Success Story

J.P. and Beverly Hearn, the Owners of Fountainville, first came to the SBDC in July 2015.  They worked with a business consultant to develop a business plan and financial projections to start Fountainville.  The company is a creamery and soda shop that manufacture their product.  With the help of the SBDC, J.P. and Beverly were able to obtain a commercial loan to open their business in Midland in July 2015.  The client now has 12 employees.  They were able to receive assistance from the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.    As a result, Fountainville has survived the pandemic.  The client plans to expand into Odessa.  They have supported the community through fundraisers for the local food bank, a woman’s shelter, local schools, and cheerleading clubs.
