Kara and Cody purchased Boards and Brushes and opened October 15, 2020. Boards and Brushes offers a bonding experience that is both unique and affordable. Customers arrive at a predetermined time to find all necessary materials waiting for them on a craft table. They then begin to build a unique wooden product which can be hung on a wall or placed on a table. Precut boards, paint, stain, and stencils are fashioned together using screws and glue. Once the product is completed, the customer has a keepsake to take home with them to enjoy. The Tarleton SBDC helped the client with purchasing the existing business by reviewing the business financials, fair market value of the business and assisting with new financial projects.
