6th Street Winery is the perfect urban winery located in downtown Wichita Falls in a historic building. They partner with vineyards in Texas and other parts of the country to secure premium quality grapes. The tasting room features over 20 wines with a full complement of cheeseboards and other light cuisines. Most weekends will find live music to round out the intimate atmosphere that is best shared with family and friends. The Andersons came to the SBDC for help in researching area demographics, as well as assistance with research and their business plan in preparation for the i.d.e.a.WF competition. We continued to help with marketing and TABC regulations. Bill Anderson, and his wife created a line called Wine for Teachers, featuring ‘Had a Bad Day Chardonnay’. Two new wines have been introduced in the month of July and a tasting is always available. 6th Street supports the Downtown Wichita Falls Development by participating in monthly Art Walks, festivals, and other activities that attract people to the bustling downtown area.
